    2011-2012 LGSSAA Championship Information:

    LGSSAA  CROSS  COUNTRY   CHAMPIONSHIPS
                           Fri. Oct. 21, 2011

Location : Memorial Park, Brockville ( off Parkedale Ave. -
behind St. Lawrence College and the Memorial Center).

Course : Course maps will be available at registration on
the day of the meet. Spiked shoes or racing flats are appropriate footwear.

Order and Time of Events :

11:30 pm - Midget Boys (4.9 km)                 
12:10 pm - Senior Girls
(4.9 km)                   
12:45 pm - Senior Boys (7.0
km)                  
1:20 pm - Junior Girls (4.1 km)
1:50 pm - Junior
Boys (6.2 km)
2:30 pm - Midget Girls (3.5 km)

Awards: LGSSAA medals will be presented to each individual
champion and to the top 5 runners on each winning team. LGSSAA
ribbons will be presented to the top  individuals, ( 2nd through 10th ) in each
race. Ribbons will go to the five (5) scoring runners on the 2nd and 3rd place
teams in each race.

Scoring : In each race, team scoring will be based on the
placings of the first (4) runners on each team. In the event of a tie, it shall
be resolved in favour of the team whose fourth runner finishes nearest to first
place.

Overall Team Championship : Scoring will be based upon team
placings in each race as follows:      1st - 12 ;    2nd  - 7 ;    3rd   - 
5 ;   4th  - 3 ;    5th   - 2 ;    6th  -
1 

Entries : You may enter an unlimited number of eligible
runners, however, only one race per runner.  All runners on a team must wear
identical school tops when competing.
